Shira, Nicole and Rachel are the honorary captains of the Rink of Dreams event. They are strong representatives of the children Help Fill A Dream supports as each has significant challenges in their lives yet continue to 'play on'. They are hockey players in the game of life!
On March 18 & 19, Victorians will take to the ice and skate for the children on Vancouver Island with life-threatening conditions in a 24 hour hockey event. The girls will come out to get the event started when they will drop the puck. The community is encouraged to drop by Bear Mountain Arena to take in the action and catch the Tailgate Party with three rock bands ... admission is by donation.
