Help Fill A Dream is an immediately responsive charitable foundation based in Victoria, British Columbia. We provide hope, help and happiness for Vancouver Island children under the age of 19 with life-threatening conditions by fulfilling their dreams, improving their quality of life and assisting their families with care and financial support.
As is the case with many non-profit organizations, we depend on the generosity of our volunteers, corporate partners and private donors. Help Fill A Dream has been the grateful recipient of donations from several renowned sporting events like the Oak Bay Half Marathon, Golf for Kids and the Rink of Dreams. Support from the community as a whole enables us to meet the needs of the growing number of families from Vancouver Island that turn to us for assistance.
We receive "Dream Requests" from children directly or work closely with social workers and nursing staff from the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) to connect with the children and families in need of our support. In fact, our mandate is to ensure that all monies raised help ONLY Vancouver Island children and their families.
