The last Friday in August, the accounting firm of Flader Hale Hughesman hosted their 2nd annual pancake breakfast. The proceeds of the event go to support a Saanich Peninsula child with a life-threatening condition.

The company seeks contributions of food product and services from local businesses to make this community event happen. Advertisements, newspaper articles, posters and flyers promote the breakfast and draw the Sidney community to this tasty fund raiser.
Early in the morning, the staff are at work well before their usual starting time to set up grills, tables, chairs and decorations in the parking lot next to their office. The partners served while staff and volunteers kept the flapjacks coming for the 2 hours.

Fluffy pancakes dotted with blueberries, fresh slices of juicy watermelon, orange juice and delicious fresh roasted coffee welcomed the over 200 hungry supporters.

A simple donation is rewarded with a full delicious breakfast. In the end ... a great community event by a caring local business in support of a child in need.
Thank you Flader Hale Hughesman!
