Corix and Focus held a tremendous event in early September to raise funds supporting children on Vancouver Island. A sunny warm Saturday welcomed 200 golfers from western Canada and the United States to Bear Mountain.

The Opening Ceremonies of the 13th annual event featured Child Ambassadors/Dream Children Jeneece, Ella and Quinn as well as a contribution of $10,000 to Jeneece Place by the organizers. The camaraderie, laughter and smiles continued across the fairways and into the ballroom as players and volunteers enjoyed the day.
There was even a hole in one recorded during the tournament which benefited both the golfer and Help Fill A Dream! Ron from Edmonton took out his six iron on the final hole of the day and launched his final stroke to win a large money prize. At dinner that night, Ron donated 10% of the prize, enough to support a child's dream!
A lot of fun was had by all, including Ella, a dream child, who had the opportunity to drive a golf cart for the first time. Thank you to Corix and Focus for this wonderful weekend and their outstanding support of Vancouver Island children!
