We thought you would appreciate an update on making dreams come true.
Bailey's dream was to spend her thirteenth birthday with the princesses in Disneyland. Bailey has fetal valproate syndrome, which means she has stopped growing and has trouble doing a lot of things kids her age normally do because of her size. The Help Fill A Dream Foundation provided a fun experience for the family to share and to create a lasting memory, and in the words of her mom 'I can't thank you enough for this gift to her. It's something she will never forget'.
Jesse has Type 1 Diabetes, which is life threatening if left untreated. Help Fill A Dream is supporting this family with emergency financial aid while they adjust to all the changes that accompany the diagnosis of such an illness. Jesse's mom wrote that their family is forever grateful for the assistance and if she could reach through the computer and give us all a big hug, she would.
Allison has endured two recent brain surgeries for a severe seizure disorder and her dream has always been to travel to Paris. Allison's dream is coming true for her this summer when she and her family will travel to Paris for a week of new sights, sounds and experiences.
It is both a privilege and pleasure to make these dreams a reality, as well as to alleviate some of the strain, both emotionally and financially, that having a sick child brings. Your continued support ensures that we are able to displace some of the anxiety and replace it with hope and assist these families during a stressful time.
