11 year old Oliver, from Lake Cowichan, has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This rare genetic disorder causes muscle weakness and muscle atrophy, making it increasingly difficult for him to enjoy all the physical activities any other busy 11 year old would. Oliver’s Dream was an Aqua Therapy Pool. Help Fill A Dream was able to assist Oliver’s family to make the Dream a reality in 2021. As well as swimming being one of his favourite activities, the therapy pool allows Oliver to do his aqua therapy exercises much more frequently than a once-a-week trip to the local pool.
