Looking for an exciting way to help raise funds for some incredible kids? Look no further.
10th Annual Seaside Magazine Charity Road Hockey Tournament is a one-day fundraiser which brings together our Dream kids (children with critical medical conditions) and their families with the local community to participate in the quintessential Canadian pass time – road hockey! This year we’re featuring mens’, womens’ and kids’ tournaments.
Our tournament is a fun and competitive event that brings together teams from all over to compete in a friendly game of road hockey. Not only is it a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the beautiful outdoors, but it’s also an opportunity to give back to our community.
Faster play
The playing surfaces are smaller so the action will be fast and furious. With the smaller space, there will be constant action as you zigzag back and forth, trying to get past your opponents to score. You’ll need to be nimble and quick to make the perfect shot.
Team Registration
Teams can consist of up to 6 people including the goalie. Teams must have a min. of 3 people. Teams must have a goalie. Teams are responsible for supplying their own equipment.
- Men’s Team (Only 8 team spots available): $300
- Women’s Team (Only 4 team spots available): $300
- Kid’s Team (Only 6 team spots available): $150
- VIP Upgrade (limiting availability, Adult teams Only): +$200
Family friendly location
Once again, this year we will be at Iroquois Park which will provide lots of great green space for teams to spread out. Bring the whole family to enjoy the TD Family Fun Zone and the other features of Iroquois Park such as the playground and splash pad.
TD Family Fun Zone
This year’s super-sized fun zone is a free mini carnival with food trucks! Our fun zone is always a major hit including: superheroes, princesses, mascots, hands-on exhibits, fire trucks, a dunk tank, bouncy castles and a “by donation” BBQ. Fun for all ages! In previous years, we had featured car racing simulators, giant games, and engaging booths from McTavish Academy of Art and the Sidney Museum, along with a photo booth. Dreams can come true
Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, our 2025 event raised an incredible $13,300 to help make Dreams come true for children on Vancouver Island with critical medical conditions. Over the past 9 years, this event has raised over $150,000!
As we mark our 40th anniversary, we’re proud to invite past Help Fill A Dream families and the community to join us for this special celebration.
