It was a win for the Victoria Grizzlies on Saturday against the Nanaimo Clippers, and it was a win for Vancouver Island kids, as the second Victoria Grizzlies Help Fill A Dream night raised over $20,000!! We had so much fun and many special moments including a puck drop ceremony with Dream kid Jonathan and Dream kid Oliver singing the National Anthem.
Teddy bears rained down after the first goal, and between periods we saw a sledge hockey demo, along with chuck-a-puck and bounce-a-bus!
Thank you to everyone who came along to watch and who took part in the silent auction, jersey auction and who brought teddy bears of course.
